Old pictures resurfaced!

Hello!

Work is still ongoing for the last beer can tower videos, the first of which will be the fast-motion of us building the final tower. The build constitutes 105 minutes of continual video, so it's quite CPU intensive getting it sped up and all put together. This is especially true as it was filmed with a pretty top-of-the-range camera, with the raw footage taking up 12GB in total. I've had to resort to using a proper desktop computer as my laptop couldn't begin to handle files that big!

The other videos are on hold whilst I gather all the footage together - different angles were filmed on many of my housemate's devices and I need to get a hold of all that before I start. These include the destruction of 19 and 20, but there may be others such as outtakes and a compilation of all the destructions in one video.

In the mean-time, here's an ancient photo which Dave recently stumbled upon on his computer. It pre-dates any of those posted when this blog began, showing the tower back when it was only 6 storeys high. I can't believe we even thought it was photo-worthy at this point, but here it is anyway!:

56 cans - only 1494 away from where we ended up!
